It's sad, really, that I'm not looking forward to WaT tonight. That I am, in fact, dreading it. Considering downloading it and watching it while drunk on the weekend. All things considered, that may be the better plan.

Even reading the small surge of D/M fics last night did nothing to fuel my enthusiasm. Quick, someone tell me it'll be okay. Or you know, hold me while I mourn the loss of my show. Even last year (and this is saying something) wasn't this bad. Oh Hank, *smites you* for leaving us.

Sorry, guess I'm still bitter that all my favourite characters have become/are becoming mere shadows on the show.

In happier news...

Work isn't busy, so I'm going to do some writing this afternoon. There's the super!sekrit project and possibly the BWOC/WaT crossover fic from hell. Should be fun. And yes, I will convert you all to Tommy/Merton even if it kills me.

Incidentally, Caroline, I'm now understanding why you went to all that trouble copying episodes off VHS and making DVDs for all of us. I'm seriously starting to consider starting up a dedicated server, uploading the episodes and demanding that my entire flist download them. *ponders logistics* *and cost*

And so I've spent the weekend watching BWOC episodes and reading BWOC fanfiction and writing some BWOC fanfiction and I think it's safe to say that I am obsessed.

( perhaps some introductions are in order )

So yes.  While I'm sure WaT will stop pissing me off eventually, until that happens you will likely see a lot more of these two.  Possibly some rare movieslash too, because nothing spells comfort quite like rare pairings.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some Big Wolf to watch.

Do you have any idea how much of an wreck I am right now?  I... I can't even form coherent sentences.  How dare you not like Ordinary Boy!  I can't remember the last time a story had this big of an impact on me.  Hell, I had to take a break halfway through so that Mole could spend twenty minutes consoling me while I sobbed into my fucking pillow.  Christ, girl, talk about an emotional roller-coaster ride.

On a semi related note?  I finished watching the dvds and omg, they were each others prom dates.  Dude.  Such good slash.

This is where I should probably comment on CSI and WaT finale spoilers, but to be honest with you, I read both and said: meh. Guess the love really is dead. :(

Any day now I'm going to stop making entries in point form. No, really.

1) I am totally behind, again. Not because I'm busy, because I'm really not, but because it's either read my flist or watch BWOC, and slashy boys win out every single time. In relation to BWOC, I have to point out the following things (oooh, use of sublist):

a) Having just met Lori (about 5 episodes ago, but it happened in the same night, so you know...) I have to say, she is such a lesbian. I fucking love her. There was this scene where she was talking to this girl (extra) and they were standing close and there were all these sparks and guh, slashy girl. I drooled.

b) Speaking of slashy, have I mentioned that Tommy and Merton are slashy? Because they are. And the show even goes out of it's way to bring it up. (People mistaking them for each other's dates at the school dance. Tommy going on and on about how Merton doesn't *excite* him after mentioning that he wolfs out when excited and Merton knows how to do it. Merton telling Tommy that he didn't start living until they met, etc.) It's making Neko delirious with slashy glee.

c) I've been altering watching episodes with reading fic. This is making me want to do two things. i) write fic and ii) read more fic. Of course, it would help if I wasn't dangerously close to exhausting my source of fic (although I've saved Caroline's series for the weekend, so that's something to look forward to) or if I could actually remember how to write fic. The odd part is that most of the stuff I've been reading is fairly light and fluffy, but for some reason this fandom is making me want to write dark (but non squicky) fic. Maybe I'm just focusing more on the wolf/possessive/jealous thing than the high school boys in love thing.

d) I'm still relatively depressed that I'm coming into this so late, because I think it would have been a fun fandom to be part of during its peak. As it stands I doubt anyone outside of maybe a handful of people even care, so I should probably stop spamming you with new (but actually old) fandom squee. My apologies.

2) In addition to rediscovering an all consuming obsession, I am sick as hell. This would be fine, except for the fact that I need to get through the next 4 days before I can actually relax. Let me tell you, not impressed with my body right now.

3) Speaking of 4 days. In 4 days I am free. In 4 days I begin anew. In 4 days Mole and I take a combined 65% pay cut. Heh. Oh this should be fun.

4) Finally, happy birthday cndaliasfan, hope it's a good one.

Oh, this show.  It's killing me.  I've been watching it straight since 6:00 last night (less 6 hours to sleep).  Dude, Merton gave Tommy a prostate exam, in canon.  Eeeeeeeeeeee!

I think I just fell ass backward into a new fandom.  Give me a week to watch all the eps, read all the fic and there shall be porn.
